"Death Valley is one of my favourite places on earth.  Most people drive straight through it on their way to Las Vegas, but I explored the valley and the surroundings by car and on foot for several days. I hardly saw another person!  So many varied landscapes: mountains, canyons, sand dunes, salt lake!  Not surprising that Death Valley has been used for so many films [Star Wars, Spartacus, Tree of Life, etc.], music videos and commercials."
